Apple Time

My best friend Terri and I went a little over board with apples one sunday.
It was a lot of fun going apples with her and we made a lot of food. I made the best apple pie ever!!! It was so yummy. We also made apple pound cake and some apple butter. Over all my tummy was very happy and my scale was very sad.

I love TjMax!!!

Custer's House

One Sunday my girlfriend and I decided to take our kids to Custers famous house to take some cute fall pictures. I think they turned out great. I can't believe how big Madison and Payton have gotten in the last year!

This is one of my favorite ones of my two beauties.

Can Maddy get any cuter????
Payton is as handsome as his father. Im a very lucky woman.

My girlfriend came with her two little girls too. All of the kids just wanted to run and not take pictures, at this point of the day.

Family shot minus one. We miss Michael in everything we do. Soon he'll be home, soon.

Madison's Surgery

Madison had gotten a small stigh over the summer, which had turned into a hard small bump in her in lower eyelid. They had me put warm compresses on the eyelid twice a day but nothing seemed to help. Finally her doctor decided that he needed to go in and get it out himself.
Usually they take the bump out in the office but because Madison is only 6, they had to do surgery and put her under. It was the longest hour of my life and I pray I don't ever have to go through that ever again!

Madison was such a good little girl. We had to get to the hospital at 6 am to get her prep.
She didn't mind since they gave her, her own t.v. to watch playhouse disney.

Madison prepped her animals, lol.
Showing off her pjs that the nurse gave her.

My baby girl after she got done with her surgery. She had no clue where she was, all she wanted was her mommy and I was so happy to be there for her.
Madison was annoyed with her IV and eye patch. So they removed both for her to make her a little more happy. She was such a good trooper for everyone there and I couldn't have been more prouder of my baby girl.
A very special thanks to my friend Terri Lynn for coming to the hospital with us and helping me out with everything. Terri is truly a good hearted person and I couldn't image a better friend.

My Payton

Payton and I got to spend Sunday all today together. We decided to go for a little hike behind Moon Lake. It's one of the best memories I have spending time with Payton. Its amazing how much a 7 year old has to say. We hiked for two hours and he didn't stop talking once. Sometimes Im so busy that I forget how fast time passes and Payton reminded me how important it is to take time to spend with the ones I love the most.

I love this boy so much!!!!!!!!!
He is such a joy to have as a son. When I think of my little man I get choked up with all the love I feel for him. He makes me proud everyday of my life. He is one of the best blessing I have in my life.

Silly little boy, makes me laugh all the time.

Fall Craft Fair

Manhattan has the cutest little fall craft fair every year, where you can buy one of a kind decor, fresh fruit and flowers. This year we went with our family friends Jolynn and Mrs. Brooks. It was a lot of fun. Spent time seeing and meeting the locals and enjoying my time with Payton and Madison.

Madison with her pumpkins that she thought she could take home.

Payton is so handsome. I can't believe what a sweet, caring young man he is turning into. I'm a very proud momma.

Mrs. Brooks, Jolynn, Madison, and Payton all taking a little break before we headed to the next building for more great buys.

This was by far my favorite part of the whole craft fair. Madison and I tasted all the homemade jellys. They were all very yummy.

Apple Days

Apple Days was a lot of fun for the short amount of time that we were there. This was the first year we went without Michael, we all agreed it wasn't the same. We didn't get to stay long but it was long enough for a couple fun activities.

The children got to race against each other in the army's obstacle course.

There were tons of jumpy houses and jumpy slides for the kids to play on.

There was a petting with a lot of cute baby animals that Madison fell in love with.
