Our little Ballerina

Our little princess has wanted to do ballet since she was born.
This year we thought she was old enough and we were right, she loves it. It is so cute to watch all these little girls try and do what their teachers do.
Maddy says she can dance all day long, shes so cute.

Apple Days

It is finally Apple Days time!!!
For 6 years now we have as a family gone to the Apple Days festive that the army throws every year. It's always a great time that we spend as a family making memories. They have games and actives for everyone in the family.

This year they were allowing children to ride in the Humvees and the kids LOVED it.

Bye bye Payton and Maddy!!!

Payton got his face painted like daddys when he works.

I can not go to Apple Days without getting a piece of the best home made apple pie ever. I wont lie, I had two pieces.

Our New Friend

Michael's friend Block came over one day to show Michael his new snake and Payton just had to see it. I thought for sure he'd be scared bu I was so wrong and he actually ask to have a pet snake. That was a BIG NO!!!!!

Payton was playing with the snake like he plays with worms and it was trying to make two snakes at one point. We all had to say no just hold it gently.

The snake was actually very pretty but the Meads will never have a pet snake ever!

Family Hike

The family and I love going on this hiking trail when we just need to get away from everything.
Its always so pretty and relaxing. We were just missing one very special Bumpa
to have been with us. But hopefully he will be able to come with us in November and we
can find some turkeys.

I like this picture of the kids crossing the bridge. They look so tiny.

I thought this was a very cool tree that was apparently struck by lighting and it was still in tact.

Payton was able to have a butterfly land on his finger and was supper happy about it.
