My Payton

Payton and I got to spend Sunday all today together. We decided to go for a little hike behind Moon Lake. It's one of the best memories I have spending time with Payton. Its amazing how much a 7 year old has to say. We hiked for two hours and he didn't stop talking once. Sometimes Im so busy that I forget how fast time passes and Payton reminded me how important it is to take time to spend with the ones I love the most.

I love this boy so much!!!!!!!!!
He is such a joy to have as a son. When I think of my little man I get choked up with all the love I feel for him. He makes me proud everyday of my life. He is one of the best blessing I have in my life.

Silly little boy, makes me laugh all the time.

Fall Craft Fair

Manhattan has the cutest little fall craft fair every year, where you can buy one of a kind decor, fresh fruit and flowers. This year we went with our family friends Jolynn and Mrs. Brooks. It was a lot of fun. Spent time seeing and meeting the locals and enjoying my time with Payton and Madison.

Madison with her pumpkins that she thought she could take home.

Payton is so handsome. I can't believe what a sweet, caring young man he is turning into. I'm a very proud momma.

Mrs. Brooks, Jolynn, Madison, and Payton all taking a little break before we headed to the next building for more great buys.

This was by far my favorite part of the whole craft fair. Madison and I tasted all the homemade jellys. They were all very yummy.

Apple Days

Apple Days was a lot of fun for the short amount of time that we were there. This was the first year we went without Michael, we all agreed it wasn't the same. We didn't get to stay long but it was long enough for a couple fun activities.

The children got to race against each other in the army's obstacle course.

There were tons of jumpy houses and jumpy slides for the kids to play on.

There was a petting with a lot of cute baby animals that Madison fell in love with.

It's Coco Time!!!!!

It has finally started to get chilly in the mornings, which means coco time at the Meads.

It makes me happy knowing that Payton and Maddy will always have these memories of "coco time" and I hope they pass it on to their little ones.

Fall Has Come Again

It's Fall again, my favorite time of the year. I love the weather, the changing of the leafs, and the decor. I love the feeling that Fall gives out. It makes me want to stay home with the kids and cook all day and do craft projects.

While Michael was home for his R&R, we found this pumpkin at Hobby Lobby. I loved it and knew we should buy it before they were all gone. We were right because three weeks later they were all out.

This pumpkin idea I had found in a magazine. I already had the pumpkin and just needed the ribbon. I thought it turned out cute.
Just one part of my house that's ready for Fall.
I just made this the other day. It was really really cheap to make but it's so prefect for Fall.

Skype Please

I am so thankful that Michael and I are able to Skype. It makes our time apart easier. Knowing that I'll be able to see him and hear his voice brings joy to my days of loneliness. The kids also get the benefits of Skype. They love being able to tell their daddy what they've done that day at school or what they'll be doing later.
Over all Skype helps us get through this deployment one video chat at a time.

Sleep Over Time

What was I thinking!!!!!
Payton had asked me if he could have a sleep over with his friends from school. I had agreed to it not realizing that Maddy may be sad and would want to invite her friends too. Making everyone happy I ended up with 5 children at my house for two days.
It was a lot of work and very loud but everyone had a great time and thats all that matters.

To let the kids run around and get their engry out, I let them play outside for a while. It work for 20 mins and then they had come back in to run around my living room.
