Mommys Night In

Last night I had my closest friends over for a Mommy's night in over at my house. Our husbands have been gone and we all agreed we needed a break from being mommys and just enjoy some great friends, with some great drinks, and some great laughs.We enjoyed a nice evening out on our patio. It was suppose to a cool evening but it it didn't turn out that way. We were all sweating and very warm.

I believe my new favorite drink is a strawberry margarita. I'm not going to lie, I think I had over 6 and I was having fun, fun, fun.

The drinks made all of our lips bright red and our teeth. It was so funny when we smiled.

We couldn't stop laughing. I think we laughed the whole time.

Bye Bye Teeth

It all started with an apple. This afternoon I realized Payton's two bottom teeth, (which have been lose for a couple of months now) had their big teeth coming through and those teeth needed to come out. Payton and I were sitting down and i had decided to give him an apple to get those dang teeth out.

He took his first bite and realized what I had planned. I told him that the tooth fairy will come if he lost his teeth.

He took another bite and and another. Finally he yelled ouch and I saw the blood, knowing my idea was working.

Payton did not like the idea of blood in his mouth and we had to rush to the kitchen to get him a paper towel. Payton then started the pulling process. He really wanted to do it himself.

The first tooth is out and we both were very excited and jumping up and down. I then went in for the second one.

The second came out with no problems. One tug and it was out. He was so happy.

Sibling Love

Missing my love very much

Being away from Michael isn't that hard on us due to we do it all the time. But ever since hearing from him two nights ago I cant help but miss him like crazy.

Michael had called in the middle of the night and I was half asleep while we talked but it was truly like Christmas for me hearing his voice. And he didn't make it any easier on me when he says he misses us a ton and all he wants to do is be with us. And how much he has missed me and how much he loves me. Everything a wife wants to hear, especially since I hadn't heard from him in two weeks.

You would think after 71/2 years of marriage it would be easier to be apart but to me its harder. I feel myself loving him more and more every day. And the more we're apart the more I feel incomplete. I feel so blessed and so happy that I have Michael has my soul mate and I feel so blessed that we will grow old together but I want him with me all the time. I would never ask him to give up what he loves to do but if he could find something he loves to do that doesn't mean him leaving all the time that would be great for me and the kids.

I just keep telling myself he comes home in a couple of days, only a couple more days.

Madison got her hair cut

Maddy and myself all ready to go and get her hair cut. I think its about time and since Michael is out of town, it's prefect timing.

Maddy all excited to get her hair cut. She has been talking about it for weeks now. She loves going to the Salon. I've taught her well.

Madison and Kerri getting all ready to cut 4 inches off her hair. Michael is going to be shocked when he gets home. Hopefully he wont be too upset. Its just hair!!!

I WON!!!!

The housing company here on base had a birthday party for their company at their offices, we went last weekend and I had put my name in for this cool picnic basket and Ipad and a flat screen TV. They have only done one so far and I was the lucky person to win this.

I didn't realize it came with gift cards inside the basket. That was a added plus. I got a $25 gift card for Dairy Queen and a $25 gift visa card to be used on whatever. I really enjoy winning stuff!!!

Our Rainbow Cake

I saw a rainbow cake on a show and then in a magazine and i thought that would be cute to make for the kids. So today Terri and I decided to try to make it with the kids. It was so much fun having the children help make the cake and showing them how to bake. We all had a blast and the cake turned out really cute and yummy.

This has to be one of the cutest moments Payton has done as a big brother. Madison was having trouble going up the hill so Payton got off his bike and and started to push his little sister. He is so sweet. Madison said thank you to her big brother and they continued to ride.

Milford Nature and Wild Life Center

Enjoyed a very nice day with the kids and our friends. It was alittle warmer then we thought it would be but it was still nice day.

All the animals they have, have been rescued and saved. It's nice to think that there are still places who cares about the well being of animals.

Payton loved the Butterflies and was so very happy that one landed on him.

Everything was very nice and green from the night befores rain.

A momma prairie dog had four babies. They were so cute and by the way they were moving you knew they couldn't be more then a couple of weeks old. So so so cute!!!!!!!
